Our business model requires us to wear two different hats – that of a financial planner and that of an investment manager. Regardless of our role, we charge a fee for our services.

Financial Planning

For the comprehensive financial plan, we charge a flat fee based upon the complexity of your situation and the level of planning involved.  The fee amount is disclosed in advance of any work being done. After an extensive data gathering process, we custom create the plan and present our findings in understandable terms. Upon completion of the presentation, we further assist our clients by guiding them through the implementation of the plan.  We create strategies for corporate stock, college savings accounts and debt restructuring, to name a few.

Investment Management

Our clients who partner with us for financial planning services will typically hire us to manage their investment portfolio as well. Our asset management services provide our clients with specific recommendations and ongoing review of their investment accounts.  We charge an annual fee for this service based on the amount of assets held with our firm. Our belief is that a fee-based strategy for investment management provides investors with necessary account flexibility and is consistent with our philosophy of providing objective advice. To ensure all of our best ideas are implemented in a timely manner, our typical client’s portfolio is managed in our fee-based platform on a discretionary basis. Clients should periodically re-evaluate whether the use of an asset-based fee continues to be appropriate in servicing their needs. Client Roadmap – Our Value Proposition

For our investment management clients who meet the asset minimum held with us, we provide to them our value proposition. This value proposition provides ongoing comprehensive financial planning through what we call the Client Roadmap. The roadmap completes the cycle of services necessary to achieve financial success.

Through ongoing planning, we ensure that no stone is left unturned. Life changes are inevitable and it is essential that the planning we do reflects those changes. Furthermore, coordinating with our clients’ accountants and attorneys in this process is also vital as we believe that a collaboration among advisors increases the likelihood that the client will receive the most thorough and objective advice possible.

Over the years, we have established relationships with qualified CPAs and attorneys both locally and throughout the country. For clients who do not have an existing tax or legal advisor, we offer the option of partnering with one or more of these firms. In many cases, we have negotiated reduced prices for our clients when working with them.

All of our clients come to us through referrals from existing clients who want us to help their friends, family and colleagues on their own path to financial success. We are always grateful for these referrals and consider them to be the ultimate compliment.
